These terms apply to your use of designsbytheshores.com, which is run by Denise Tsujisaka, doing business as Paintings by Denise. By using the site, you agree to them.

The artwork

All paintings and images on this site are original works by Denise Tsujisaka and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to view them and to share links to pages on the site.

Without written permission, you may not:

• copy, download, print, or reproduce the images, except as your browser does automatically to display the site;
• sell, license, or otherwise use the images commercially, including on products;
• remove or obscure the watermark; or
• use the images to train or develop artificial intelligence or machine learning systems.

Buying an original painting gives you ownership of that physical painting. The copyright stays with the artist unless a written agreement says otherwise.

Paintings and commissions

Information about a painting, including its size, price, and availability, can change. A sale or commission is only final once the details are agreed in writing with Denise. Every painting is photographed or scanned for the site, and screens show color differently. Colors you see on the site may not match the painting exactly. Prints are made from those scans, so a print can also differ slightly from the original in color and tone. Small differences like these are not considered defects.

Using the site

Please do not use the site’s forms to send spam, harmful content, or anything unlawful, and do not try to interfere with how the site works.

No warranties

The site is provided as is. Reasonable care is taken to keep it accurate and available, but there is no guarantee that it will always be accurate, complete, or available.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Denise Tsujisaka and Paintings by Denise are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.
